These are the questions restaurant owners ask most often when setting up menus, QR codes, analytics, and subscriptions.
Astolio is a digital menu platform for restaurants. It gives you a public menu page, QR code, menu management dashboard, scan analytics, and WhatsApp-based ordering handoff.
Go to the sign-up page, enter your email and password, add your restaurant name, then add your WhatsApp number. Astolio will create your account and guide you into dashboard setup.
Yes. You can update your restaurant name, WhatsApp number, visual template, and logo from the Settings page inside your dashboard.
Open Dashboard → Menu, then use the add item button. You can create items with a name, price, description, category, optional image, and optional size details.
Up to three banners can be active at the same time. You can keep more saved in the dashboard, but only three will be shown publicly at once.
Open Dashboard → QR Code. You can change the foreground color, background color, and center logo, then save the design and download it for printing or display.

Use your email and password on the sign-in page. Once authenticated, you will be taken to your restaurant dashboard where you can manage menu items, banners, QR settings, analytics, and profile details.
Your menu URL is generated from your restaurant name using a slug. For example, a restaurant like Kiza Lounge becomes a URL such as /menu/kiza-lounge.
Yes. You can update your restaurant name, WhatsApp number, visual template, and logo from the Settings page inside your dashboard.

Yes. Menu items have an availability toggle. Turning availability off hides the item from your public menu while keeping it saved in your dashboard.
Yes. Menu item photos can be uploaded through the dashboard and are stored in Convex file storage. Images help make the public menu more visual and easier to browse.
Banners are promotional images displayed on your public menu. Restaurants commonly use them for specials, limited offers, house recommendations, or brand storytelling.

Yes. Astolio supports both PNG and SVG downloads. The PNG export is generated in a high resolution suitable for print-ready use.
Astolio does not process orders inside the app. Customers browse your public menu and then continue to your WhatsApp number to place an order directly with your restaurant.
Astolio tracks menu scans, daily activity, week-over-week changes, and peak scan times. These metrics help you understand how often people open your menu and when they engage most.
No. Public menu pages do not set cookies for guests. Astolio records an anonymous scan event for analytics, but this does not rely on persistent cookie-based tracking.
If your subscription is pending, paused, or expired, Astolio shows a suspended state instead of the live public menu. This protects the owner dashboard flow while clearly informing guests that the menu is temporarily unavailable.
Yes. Astolio shows a dashboard warning when your subscription is close to expiry, and the backend can also send renewal reminders when email delivery is configured.
Yes. You can permanently delete your account from the danger zone in Settings. That removes the restaurant record, related menu items, banners, QR settings, scan events, and uploaded images tied to the account.
Only users whose account role is marked as admin can access the internal console. Regular restaurant owners are redirected back to the dashboard if they try to open console routes.
